I have a .mdb database that we use to collect service calls on equipment. The form below shows the fields that we collect. The operator enters their information in the yellow section and the technician will assign the call to himself by selecting his name from the list which starts the call as downtime. When he completes the task, he will close the call by completing the rest of the required fields. The call is not considered closed or completed until all fields are completed. I have built a query that finds all records that are not completed. I have built a macro that runs this query at a set timed interval.
This is where I need help. I want to display the results of the calls that are still open which would represent all machines that are considered "down" on a large monitor for the production floor to view. I would need to build a form to have it presented nicely.
Can this be done in Access alone? Did I provide enough information for you to assist me?
Thanks
Rick
