combobox select problems

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a thousand times, but I can't seem to find that thread. My Googlefu has failed me. I had a combobox to show my client names but I can't select them. I can start typing and it will autocomplete the name and allow me to go to the record, but I can't actually select from the list.The combobox source is a query. since you are bound to col 1, and col 1 is the key,(not the name)
in the format tabe, try setting col widths, 0;2
(and data tab,# columns = 2)
(so the ID is invisible, and the 2nd col, name, is shown)
NOW , auto fill should work.

Ok, figured it out.

I had events in onclick. When I deleted them it worked.
