Renaming reports, quarries and forms

I have an unusual ?



I have merged a number of smaller data bases into one big database. The problem I am having that I now have so many reports, quarries and forms now that I am having trouble determining with one for what and where. My question I s can I rename these reports, quarries and forms and so on so they are grouped and if I do so will Access 2016 make the correct changes to other reports, quarries and forms and so on that have a connection or are required to make reference to the form that is getting the name change.

I would be wary of Access keeping proper track of name changes. Given what you describe, I'd probably create custom Navigation Pane groups.

Thanks pbaldy. That sounds like that would be a good idea. How exactly would I do that in Access 2016?

Thank-you pbaldy for that link. I should have googled it myself. It worked perfectly. When I ask how to do it was expecting something much more complicated.
