Linked Table Manager

Morning All,

I've been using an Access database for many years. It is a split database so a front end and a back end database that are linked together.



I need to link it to a new/empty back end database, for the start of a new project. However, I've hit an issue!

I am accessing the linked table manager from the front end, but its empty!

How can this be?

Can anyone help please?

I'm using Microsoft Access 2010. When the database was originally created, it may have been done in 2007.

If there are no tables to relink, then add them thru the import tables menu.

If I do that, it adds the tables but it creates duplicates, because they are already there.

The db is split into a front end and a back end.

I have the front end open, and I want to change the source of the linked database.

you said they were NOT there. Which is it?
if they tables are there in the db, but the file is not,
then relink on the NEW table path.
