Column selection form for entering within a subform

I added a subform to one of my forms but was wondering if there is there a way to select what columns you would like to enter information into when you. Ie. the whole table was inserted but I only want to be able to enter information into 1-3 of those fields. I have a donation database and I need to be able to enter each item/ value for an auction onto a separate line.

You can go into the design view of the subform and simply delete any fields that you don't want to display. The relationship between the two forms will not be impacted, even if you remove the key fields.
