Timeformat changes to Datetime when export to excel

In Access i have changed the format to short time and in excel the format is the same but when i export to excel it change to 1900-01-00 13:12:00 for example.
I want only the time, not the date. Whats wrong?

The date time field ALWAYS stores both date and time. If you only enter a time then the date will be 1900.
just format it how you want to see it.
If you only want time , format to see time, hh:nn.
