Access Crashes when Print Previewing Reports

Does anyone have a solution or reason as to why Access keeps crashing each time I try to print preview my report? I have tried recreating the database but it did not work. I have read online to reinstall the print driver but it is not happening with any other program which tells me the driver is not corrupt.

Prior to it crashing, I get an error message that says the section width is greater than the page width. When I take OK to continue, that's when it crashes. (I am putting this out there in case this could be the cause).

The report did preview correctly several times prior to it starting to crash. I was getting the error message during this time as well and I did try to correct the error message, but the information on my report does not exceed the page width or it's length so I am unsure as to why I am getting this.

    Any ideas on the cause/solution?

I had this same problem ( but not print preview) and I could not stop it.
even removal of Access and reinstall did not fix it. It's something in the PC.
i got a different PC and it worked fine.

More info on the report and your use of it (e.g. how are you opening it)??
To answer some of the below, you might have to test some of the conditions.

Try it on one or more different computers. If there is no failure, it may not be related to printer driver - it could be operating system service packs
How many headers? subreports? footers? groupings, etc.?
Does the report open at this point at all - showing a page first before crashing?
Happens regardless if you open the report directly from Nav Pane
OR from design view to print preview?
OR design view to report view?
What about the queries behind the report/subreport(s) - can you open them with no issues?
    And/or take a look at http://allenbrowne.com/recover.html

I agree with Micron that testing the report to further isolate the symptom is the way to go. I would place an emphasis on testing the query(s) that support the Report. Also, you might want to revisit the report width issue. Perhaps making a copy of the report and editing the copy would be beneficial.

In a copy, you could move all controls within an 8" width. Be sure to grab lines, too. The width of lines are easiest to adjust via the Width property in the Property sheet. Then, make sure to adjust the overall width of the report. If your margins are 0.25", you want your report to be a maximum of 8" when printing on a piece of paper that is 8.5" wide.

There is a little gren error icon that will pop-up in the upper left corner of the report if the report is wider than the paper it is expected to print on. Adjust the width until the error goes away.
