Split form with spreadsheet view on top

Is it possible to create a split form with spreadsheet view on top and when you click on any field in that line it shows a regular form with field information below?

I never use split forms.......... having said that, did you try to put the datasheet on top?


There is a property, "Split form Orientation", that sets the datasheet to TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT or RIGHT.

I was thinking it would be easy and i could then see a concise list of info in worksheet view and then when i click on a car i could see a list of organized details below.

Why dont you use split forms?

I already created it as a regular form with a continuous subform which is better anyway because then i can do some conditional formatting on fields.

Split forms were not available in A97 or A2K, so ...........

From what little I tried them, they were two limiting (as you found out )
