Printing Form With Picture On It

    Hi Guys,

I have a form that works as document sheet - user first fills it in then prints it using DoDcm.printOut. There is a picture of my company's stamp on the form and it's supposed to get printed. Unfortunately, everything gets printed correctly but the picture. The funniest thing is that it worked correctly not until today and it still works correctly on my coleagues' machines. What's going on?

PS. I know that form is not designed for printing and that I should use report instead, but I don't think I could convert it into report easily. Besides, it worked perferctly well until today..

    Robert

Maybe the computers have different versions of Access and are struggling with an embedded image. I try to use external files for icons and such. It goes against convention but I find it more dependable. Also if you are already using external files/resources, make sure each computer has access to the resources. I will use a path to the client machine's C drive.

Thanks for the idea, but versions of Access are exactly the same (including servce packs etc). I can't understand why it was working correctly and won't now.

We may never know why. If it is any consolation, I have had similar experiences. I would try recreating the Image Control or embedding the Icon again. I always pay close attention as to which copy of an application is my Master copy. If there is an issue when I distribute a copy of the Master, I fix the Master and throw away any previous versions that were distributed.
