    Lightbulb InPut restriction

    Hello,
I have two tables in access, The first one contain items and their codes, now the second must contain the code and the item from the first table and a description or another field i want to add. The idea is the following : i create a form for the second table, if i tape an existing code (i have used a combo box) the item must appear. this is to prevent errors and mistake. I have tried many things but always there is a problem. i have used a DLookup function it show the item corresponding to the code i have taped but it cannot be registered. I seek your help.

You should be able to attach it here, after compacting and zipping.

form in design view select add existing fields select the table with items and their codes and move the item field onto the form and form view and when you select and item the name should show up there so you can verify you have the correct item.
