Separating labels and text box pairs, tuples

I am having problem in MS Access 2010 with labels and text boxes traveling together, i.e.. moving around on the screen together.
If you move one the other one also moves.

    My question is:

    1. Can I separate them for movement and if so how?

    2. Once separated how do I change a label into a text box - if this is possible?

    3. Can I just use labels on a form and nothing else?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    1. can be moved separately and still remain an associated pair - click and drag the upper left anchor
if you want to separate then select the label and delete and copy back (Ctrl+x, Ctrl+v)

    2. right click > Change To

    3. yes, although can't really imagine why
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
