Export query results for .csv with bold, italics, and paragraph breaks

Hello,


I have an Access field that includes a course description. it must have some words made bold, others in italics, and paragraph breaks, so I made the field a .rtf field. But, I need to export the query results that include this field it to a .csv file to be uploaded to our website, and the .rtf text does not convert correctly.

Before I needed bold, etc., I successfully did this by exporting to Excel and saving as a .csv file. But that has failed -- the bold and italics do not carry through to the .csv file. .

Can you give me some hints about what to try next?
