storing and accessing word docs in a table?

    Hello,

I have a set of maybe 5 template word docs which I populate with info form our database using bookmarks , the word docs are currently sat in a shared network drive.

I have started wonder if it would be better to store them in a table and call them from there to keep things together. Is this an advisable idea or even something that is doable?

    All opinions welcome.

If I were contemplating your suggestion I would be most concerned with the 2GB size limit for an Access db. I developed a document management system a while back, but stored the documents in a folder and stored links in the db.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
