I'm having a problem with Access 2013 and the margin settings when making Reports. The defaults are all wrong (resulting in a unworkable blank page) and even when I change them manually, they seem to keep switching back to the bad settings. This is happening on my teacher laptop, but the standalone computers the students are using seem to have sensible defaults.
Following the "Page Setup" tab of a report, the settings for my margins are:
Print Options tab:
Margins:
Top - 138.43 (but should be 6.35)
Bottom - 138.43 (but should be 6.35)
Left - 106.68 (but should be 6.35)
Right - 106.68 (but should be 6.35)
Page tab:
Page: Letter (Should be A4)
Columns tab:
Columns:
Width - 45.82cm (should be 19.709)
Height - 0.755cm (should be 0.741)
I got those "should be" values by looking at the same settings of one of the standalone school computers, which seem to be fine as far as making printable Access Reports.
Why can't I change these numbers? My school technician is also stumped, having made me complete Administrator of my teacher laptop and still the settings don't stick when I change them. Am I adjusting them in the wrong place? Where can I change the default settings for Report margins so that Access on my teacher laptop behaves like the install on the standalone school computers?
