    Question Subform Datasheet View Sorting

I have created a subform which brings back the search results from the criteria entered on the main form. The subform returns in datasheet view, I have 8 fields (columns) on the subform, when I click on the pick list built in sort arrow on one of the fields, I get the following syntax error: Syntax error (missing operator in query expression <field>name. The field is a YES/NO field. I'm using Access 2010 - Windows 8. I'm not sure where to look to find the problem, because I have not written any code behind this field.

What, exactly, do you mean by "the pick list built in sort arrow on one of the fields?"

In the datasheet view, there is a small downward triangle beside each field (column) that will allow you to sort the values (A to Z) or (Z to A).

Open the subform alone - ie. no filtering by data on the main form. If problem still occurs, check recordsource of the subform. It's a query, right? There may be a syntactical error in it.
