Conditional Formatting of dates by fiscal year?

    Hello all,

I've got the conditional formatting thing down and am able to determine if a date is close to expiring by using 'value is less than now()+30', but I'd like to replicate the same thing, but the expiration date is based on the fiscal year (October to October).

The date entered is the date of qualification. How can I conditionally format to fit my needs?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

What do you mean by 'based on the fiscal year'?

What rule do you want the conditional formatting to follow? If the expiration date is in the current fiscal year, highlight?

I'd like to highlight anything that is not in the current fiscal year. So if something were to have occurred prior to October 1 of 2014, it would be highlighted.

Suggest you have a field in form RecordSource that calculates the fiscal year for each record's date and reference that field in the Conditional Formatting rule.
