Subform in continuous default view

Hi

I created a subform in the footer of a continuous mainform. During addition of the subform, I forced the default view property of the mainform to continuous despite of warning that it has to be set to single form.

I have no problem to run the mainform in continuous view, but the subform in footer likewise is in continuous view which is not what I want. Is there anyway I could have the subform set to single form view & keep the mainform in continuous view ?

you should just be able to change it to single form - perhaps also set properties to not allow continuous or datasheet view

By trial & error I have solved the problem by adding a page break under the subform.
