Query is returning over 1M records, tables have a total of 27K, HELP!

I've created a query from 3 tables. When I test it out I get a records list with almost 2 million records!



I'm trying to create a query that sorts by active, Category, then 1st Description, from three tables that hold that information. The record amounts is all three tables is 9732, 9732 and 12023.
Obviously they're duplicates (see Pic 1), but how can I stop this from happening?

As orange suggests, provide the SQL statement for analysis. I suspect the query involves several tables have 1-to-many or many-to-many relationships.

What is purpose of this query - recordsource for a report? Report/subreport arrangement is probably needed.
