    Question Deleting Combobox/Dropdown Menu Items

Good morning all! Is it possible to delete items from a dropdown menu, or will this delete the data if those items were used in the past? I have a few dropdowns where the user wants to eliminate some of the choices, however there is data in the table for these items. The method I used to created these dropdowns was just to list the items in the Row Source.

Does anyone know? And if it does, does anyone know any other method I could use to have these items not show up in the dropdown on the form?

    Thank you!
    Happy Friday!
    Tanya

You are using ValueList? Regardless of how the RowSource is constructed, excluding items will not impact saved data.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
