    Reset Record Numbers

    Hi all,

I've designed my database (Access 2013) and entered records for testing of queries & reports etc. I know how to delete records obviously but once I do so, I would like for my record numbers to start from zero again once I start using the completed tested database. How can I achieve this without having to play around with the relationships? I tried using the forum search option but couldn't find a step by step answer. Thank you.

Delete all records and then run Compact & Repair.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
