    Text Box On Form.

I have a form that says to add record. After you put the data in the text box, I have a button to return to my other form with the combo box to pick from. That new Name is not there. I have to shut down and restart then its there. How can I have someone add a new record, then click button to open the form with the drop down combo box and it would be one to choose from? Thank You

The combobox must be requeried to refresh the list.

Couple ways to accomplish. What is the code that opens the form for input of new item?

The button to open form has code. If you used wizard to build, it probably created an Embedded Macro. I don't use macros, only VBA.

In VBA, I would open the form and requery the combobox with:

    DoCmd.OpenForm "formname", , , , , acDialog
    Me.comboboxname.Requery
