Repeated information

Hello access community,
I am a new user of the forum and of access 2007. This is my very first question. Forgive my ignorance but this is the reason why I've joined the forum.
Problem: I have 2 tables, a) companies table and b) Events table. The first one contains company name, address, category, etc. The second table contains details of events I do every time I visit these companies. The tables are properly linked with their primary keys. I have also created theirs respective forms. My problem is with the form "events": First I do not want to repeat company name every time I enter an event. Also when I generate a report I want to see the company name once and under all events in one year.


Can somebody help?

Suggest you make the Events form a sub form of the company form and link them on PK and FK. Here is a video on sub forms that you can glean information on how to make this work.

I have watch the video and it is pointing to my solution. I have not tried yet building subformt. . There is a lot of staff to learn.
