I am not a complete newbie when it comes to Access, but I use it rarely enough that I need help :-)
I am working on a small project for a phone call database. I have VoIP system that records the VMs in .wav files and sends them via email (or allows access to them in a web application). In my Access application I want someone to essentially listen to the files, transcribe the important parts into access fields, and qualify the calls as "junk" or "immediate callback". These are then available for other people as reports for follow-up. I have a couple of issues I need to solve, and I will try to ask the questions in the appropriate forums.
Question #1: I have set up the table fields with an "Attachment" field, but I can't drag and drop the wav file from the email in Outlook. I can drop the wav file to the desktop first, and from there to the attachment field, but that seems a bit redundant. Can the attachment be dragged and dropped from an email in Outlook directly? If so, how do I do that?
