existing query donesn't appear in navigation pane

Anybody seen this before? Surely I'm missing something simple...

In Access 2013, I have a query entitled InvDel that I need to work with in design view, but it stopped showing up in the navigation pane. I can get to it by designing a form based on it, etc, but things can't stay that way. I imported it from a backup of the database because I originally thought it had been deleted, and the newly imported query took on the name InvDel1, indicating it already exists. When I do a search in the navigation pane for InvDel, InvDel1 shows up but InvDel still does not. I tried compact and repair to no avail. I guess my next step, if all else fails, will be to start working from a backup copy and import the database objects I have changed but have not yet moved into the production database. I'm hoping to avoid that.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Disregard..... odd, though. I was able to rename InvDel1 to InvDel, overwriting the original query that wouldn't appear in the navigation pane. ....something corrupted somewhere I guess. I even showed all db objects in the navigation pane by type sorted in alphabetical order. Showed InvDel1 but not InvDel. weird, but problem solved.
