Angry Count Rows in a Filtered Report

    Hello All,

I have a very simple task I can't seem to complete with Access. I'm pretty new, so please bear with nonsense questions.

I have a table of unique ID's with "Planned Date"s and "Finish Date"s. Of course finish dates are not the same as planned dates for some items. I would like to create a report that filters the items that are only finished today. But on the report I would like to show the number of items that were planned in total as well.

For example, report should show as number:
    total planned for 06.11.2014 : 54
    total finished in 06.11.2014 : 43
and only the list of items finished in 06.11.2014.

I can create the report and filter for 06.11.2014 but I can't count the total planned. That total planned somehow gives me 43 again.

    Please help, thank you.
