    Aligning Tick Boxes With Labels

    Hi,

I am a novice at Access 2000 and I am frantically trying to align some Tick boxes with their appropriate labels. Currently the form I have created looks a bit messy. Does anyone know of an easy way to align the tick boxes and labels on a form to make it look a little more professional? TIA

Up to you for aesthetics. However, you can quite easily in design mode use the align to grid option, set spacing, etc...

Thanks for the prompt reply, but it does not help in so much as the position of the tick boxes appear to be all over the place. As there are quite a large number of tick boxes and the possibility that I may have to add more at a later date, I thought there might be an easy way to align the tick boxes and the labels, but if not then that's fine!

Not understanding the issue. Maybe need a picture or provide db for analysis. Follow instructions at bottom of my post.

A 'lot' of tick boxes makes me think data structure is not normalized.

As the data is confidential I cannot send a copy or screen print. I don't even know what you mean by the structure is not normalised. I guess I will have to live with it as it is.

Don't need real data. Make copy and remove data.

Set the form Grid X and Grid Y properties to 20 and will have a finer grid for snapping controls. Unfortunately, checkboxes and radio buttons cannot be resized.

Grab top edge of checkbox and drag until it snaps to grid line. Then position the label by grabbing the top edge and snapping to grid line above the checkbox.

This is not a normalized structure and will likely cause you frustration when you want to search on Systems and do statistical summaries.
