Images disappearing from forms

Hi! I have a database that was made in Access 2013 and it works fine, but when I sent a friend, DB also works fine but the images don´t appear (the images have macros, and macros are activated). My friend has an older version of Access, could it be it? is there any way to make images appear (upgrade) that doesn´t implies getting a newer version of Access? Could there be any other reason for this? Thanks a lot for your help,

I too have seen images disappear in older versions of access. New access uses better icons, and graphics, and I think the older ver. dont translate well.
Lower resolution images may work.
