Cool Running Queries on Split Databases

    Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and relatively new to Microsoft Access. I just have a question I was hoping someone could help me answer.

I am trying to run queries on a database that I had to split so that multiple users could simultaneously access and add data to. My question is how do I run queries on this database? I am unsure how to do this since in order to split the database I had to eliminate multiple relationships that were linked to the same table. I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions, as I've never had to split a database and am not sure exactly what I need to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Matthew

Creating queries and splitting databases are not necessarily dependent on one another. In other words, create your queries and test them. Afterwards, split the DB by placing the query objects in the FE file. Try to keep things this simple as you develop. Stay focused on the queries working correctly and not pay attention to whether or not the DB is split.

Just make sure the query object is in the Front End file for the User.

You have ID joined in the query (Data Check). Dont do this...the ID field is just a random number genereator and means nothing.
You want to find unmatched items in your known data fields. Perhaps website. But not the ID.
