    System resource exceeded

I have a small table, under 12,000 rows of data. Data is short text, some currency, NO calculations. I'm simply trying to append to a List in SharePoint via the most simple of queries. One table, append.

After an excrutiating period of time (close to two hours!) I get the "System Resource Exceeded" message, and only 8k or so lines of the 12k lines I need to load, loaded.

In your experience, is this an Access issue, a network issue, or a SharePoint issue?

I've done much larger uploads to SharePoint at previous companies and never got this message before.

Thank you for your best insight! You folks always help me!

If I had to guess, I'd say that your append code is broken.

Please describe your method of appending the data, in simple but accurate terms. Pretend you and your computer are going on vacation, and you are explaining the process to a clerk who is going to have to manually do whatever steps you and your computer are performing.

Example - You go to this form and press on this button. That causes a subroutine (or macro) to run, which uses the VBA command "XXX" to attach to the sharepoint list that's called "YYY"... etc
