    Lightbulb Can it be de-compressed?

Hi everyone. I don't know what happened, but une day my db, which is splitted in Front End and BE, showed compressed (the BE).

I don't have good experiences on compressed dbs, so, can it be uncompressed? It may sound stupid, but I'm kind of newbe on this.

    Thanks in advanced.

I am not sure what you are talking about. Are you referring to the compression that is allowed with NTFS file systems? Did you use settings in Windows to "Compress" a directory? Did the file names turn blue when viewed in Windows Explorer?

I'm sorry, the word i should've used is compact, not compress. The advise I'm lookin for is to reverse the effects of the "Compact & Repair Database" option.

    Will there be one?

just what 'effects' do you believe need to be reversed? I wonder if there is further misunderstanding of the technology......
