How to make a list in a Subform

I am trying to build a training database, I want to open a form which shows the employees details, when open I want the attached Sub form to show a list of training documents completed to be listed. I have got it so that the sub form shows a list but of all the students, but I just want a list for the the specific person. I am struggling to understand how to do this, I have been reading and watching all the training videos, being new to Access, can some one point me in the right direction please.

Have you looked at the Main Link and Child Link properties of your subform container?

Check what ItsMe said, the Main Link and Child Link properties may not be set up correctly on the subform.
