Image Attachment links breaking after restart

Hi all,

I've searched the forums for this problem but can't find it so apologies if it appears somewhere.

I've created a basic access table/form/report and inserted some image attachments into a field within the table.

These are linked to an image frame on the form (and also report) and when I am within Access they all flow through fine.

However, when I close and reopen access, the images don't appear - I have to re-add only one of the ~50 image links in the table view (even though it already appears in the attachments window) and then all of them start showing again.



Any help appreciated.

Ok so I have these fields in my table set up as attachments:



Within them, I add images:

In my form, I have 3 image frames that are linked to one of the image fields (in the below case, field 1) with the following properties:

How is your firm getting the data. Is it going through a query, connected to the table, or vba. Is the form. What are the form settings. Single form, continuous, data entry. Are you importing then into access or linking them?

The form is getting the information directly from the table - it's linked.

The form is a single form.

All data was entered into the table initially but now it's just entered directly into the form and new information is saved every time.

THe only information entered into the table still are the pictures in the form of attachments.

Without a sample of the database I'm not sure I can help you. Maybe check your form properties and make sure you don't have it set for data entry.
