Deleting records demonstrating certain characteristics in specific fields

I'm uploading a worksheet from Excel to Access that has lots of names (first and last). I'd like to know if it's possible to automatically delete records that are blank (have neither first nor last names), records that have the same name for FIRST and LAST, and records that only have single letters in FIRST and LAST. I can do this in Excel, but I'd like to just be able to upload it to Access and have it take care of it.

    Thanks

You can manipulate the records after they are copied i.e. inserted into access table using DELETE query.
See here for examples of delete query http://www.techonthenet.com/sql/delete.php
