subform not clearing

All, using access 2010. I have a subform on a main form. I have a combo box filter the subform. When I close and reopen the form; data remains from the last filter. I have done this several times for other databases and can’t correct this. What’s going on? Help please.

You mean RowSource.

Sounds like the form is being saved with the last applied filter in the Filter property. How do you close the form? With DoCmd.Close? Try:

DoCmd.Close acForm, "form name", acSaveNo

Or make sure the FilerOnLoad property is set to No.
