Easy way to color the background of the entire form?

Is there an easy way to color the entire background of a form?

I've tried form background, cell background, etc, but then you have borders, border color, border style, gridlines, gridline color, gridline style, and so on....

I've got 35-40 cells in a couple of forms, and it's making me a little nuts that I can't get rid of those white cell borders

    Thanks!

Changing the background is easy as setting the Back Color via forms Detail setting. To change the border of a control, you can change the Back Style and set to transparent as well as change the color.

well.... I'm a newbie, and using the 'Contacts' database that came with Access 2010. It's a "web" database, and apparently web databases do not have design view?

I'm starting to think these "web" databases are a pain in the backside. Everybody keeps talking about design view... Does a web database have it and I'm not finding it?

I can get into 'layout' view, go to Form properties, change the 'back' color, but can't get rid of the white borders, gridlines and such.

Web database is harder to edit with fewer options and only worth using if you want to publish to web.
Web forms and reports do not have design view, mods must be done in layout view through ribbon interaction.

If you want to look at desktop version http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...001225343.aspx
    Or try converting http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/...d.php?t=219350

Thanks a bunch, June7. Yes, I downloaded the desktop version. The web version is a little 'prettier', but I tweaked the layout and colors (that brown is horrible! lol) in the desktop version and it's working great now.

And I've got design view! woohoo!
