    Relationship problems????

I am sure I am missing something really simple but have been struggling with this for a few hours now.

I have attached a small database to show what i am struggling with. Table 1 has a list of programs( these are unique) and each program has a leader ( which are not unique). In table 2 there will be a list of modules( not unique). For each module the program is also present. I then want the field of leader to be automatically filled in from table 1.

I have managed to link the tables which gives me the drop down menu of leaders but i want it to be automatically filled in

    Any help would be appreciated

    Geoff

I believe you will find you need a Table of leaders as well.

You will need a query to "automatically" fill in those fields and you should NOT use LookupFields. http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm
