Driving myself crazy with Access 2010 query using a form for criteria

This is probably going to sound crazy but I have been an Access user/developer for a long time and have written 1000's of queries and yet I can't get a simple select query to work using a text box on a form as the criteria and am wondering if it has to do with this version of Access. I just got a new machine and installed Access 2010. I have a form called Mailer and on that form is a text box called TxtTestNum. In my query I have a column pulling from a field called ID and in the criteria I have Forms![Mailer]![TxtTestNum]. When I run the query I still get a pop-up asking for a Parameter Value of Forms!Mailer!TxtTestNum. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Check that the text box is actually named "TxtTestNum" by looking at the forms property sheet.
Check the name of the form (just incase it's called something like "frmMailer)
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Are you sure TxtTestNum is the name of the textbox? Not misspelled?

I double checked both and all seems to be spelled correctly...

Then all looks good and only other suggestion I have is that maybe something is corrupted. Try a new query. Does the issue persist?

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

What is the SQL of the query?
What is the purpose of the Mailer form? And the button on the form?

I should have just done as suggested and build a new form and query. Something must have been corrupted because as soon as I deleted both and re-built them it is working fine. Thanks for all the replies.
