access not responding when someone else is running sql script

One of our users is having problem with access, it hangs whenever someone is running sql script in our lan network. It's 2007 version of Access and Windows XP, everything is updated. I run access internal repair tool, it took about 30 min and fixed one error but application still hangs. Did anyone had similar problems? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Orange,

I am sorry for submiting such a limited description, I am beginner when it comes to databases. Yes our DB is split, we use access based application on the front end and sql server 2005 as a back end. We do not have many users, only 5 of them is working with SQL server and as I mentioned only one user is having issues with Access.

Each user has a copy of the very same FE resident on their PC?
Do you get any error messages?
Do you know what function/form/process the user is doing when the issue occurs?
