Can 2 databases, each 1 in one of two locations be synced?

If you were to read in the "About Me" in my profile you would see that in time I will be working on a database that will be started here in the US and will continue to be worked with on my local PC in Germany by copying said database from the server here in Sioux City to my local PC in Germany. the main question I have is can this database be copied back and forth as it continues to be worked on?

What do you mean by 'synced' - design edits or data entry? Copying back and forth will over-write file.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

June7, thank you so much for your reply - i really don't mean sync in terms of "What do you mean by 'synced' - design edits or data entry?", but in terms of for example if I use GoodSync to keep both files (the file on our server here in Sioux City & the file on my local PC in Germany) synced as in when i work on the one in Germany then sync back to Sioux City essentially maybe this is the same as copying thus over-writing the file.
Knowing very little about Access I just don't want to mess up a file and any thing the file may be associated with. You see how little I know, so thinking like an excel user and with hyperlinks to other files etc I am afraid of overwriting with links to my local PC in Germany and how that could cause issues with the file in Sioux City. I will go ahead and mark this "Solved" as I believe you have quelled my fears and by the time I move to Germany I should have I hope more understanding of how Access works. I have even considered taking the local community college course for Access - do you think this would be a good idea - or can i get enough from reading an Access guide and from doing & using Access?

Certainly class couldn't hurt. My experience before Access was a couple of computer classes (Introduction to Computers, Fortran Programming) about 20 years apart, aside from daily interaction with computers that everyone has these days. I was lucky when we decided to build a new database my boss paid for a consultant to give me 1-on-1 tutoring in Access/VBA. My aptitude for programming and understanding databases was already revealed, but the tutoring boost really got me on a roll.

Thanks June7 for your input, very much appreciated. Now I only need to give good reason why I need to build this database of equipment, software, how to documents I have created over a 7 year period and the list goes on.
