Access 2010 Total of Datasheet Form

    Hi,

As shown in image below. I have managed to get a Total Row in my Datasheet form by pressing the Sum Sign from the Access Toolbar at the top. Based on drop down manual selection, the Total Row will do different calculation for the table fields.

However, I need it to be fixed on a selection like Sum and does it automatically without the need for the manual select. Also I need to stop users from changing it. Is there any way to control its properties or behavior.

    Thanks

    Sahm

I don't think there is. It's intended for use by users. If you want this to be static then set the form as Continuous and do calc in form footer textbox.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
