I am trying to set a form that when you add a new report it will auto poulate with a number like this S44/13/001. I have not had formal training in Access. If any one can help.
The fieild name is S 44 NUMBER.

Don't try to put too much significance into a code.
Get a naming convention that doesn't allow embedded spaces.
