How to enter data in multiple cells at once

I have a database table established in Access 2007 with 28,000+ entries. I have added a new field that will contain the same data (#DOC1215) for each entry. I have set it to auto populate new entries with this value but need to fill in the existing 28,000 entries. How can I quickly do this without have to cut and paste each entry?

Try an update query; with no criteria it will update all records.
