Table Locked within a Form - MS Access 2010 Windows 7

Recently, a particular part of a form became locked (please see screenshot. The section in question is highlighted). I can't enter any new information or edit any existing information.

I've tried googling for a solution, and I've tried going into Design View to check that various properties are enabled. The relationships also appear to be unbroken.

Please forgive my limited Access vocabulary and lackluster description, as I'm a novice user. Can anyone provide some insight? Please let me know if any additional information would be helpful.

    Thanks so much.

Do me a favor, make a backup of your database then clear out all the records. Does the subform unlock? Maybe there's a max records setting?

    Hi Neobeowulf,

Thanks for your reply. I did minimal research online, and from what I understand, max records only apply to .adp files? I could be way off. It's a standard .accdb file with no links to external sources.

Strangely enough, I opened the database from a different PC (The database is stored on a network drive) and the subform was unlocked. Now it's really just a question of why it's locked on the original PC.

I'll see what I can do about clearing it out, though. Thanks again!

    Best,
    Andrew
