    Smile Totalling in main form

I want to do a count in the subform of payment type (Payment type are "visa","cash",chq") and call the total in the main form. I use DCOUNT it counted the whole DB. I want to restrict the count to the CURRENT form record with no. of counts in subform. How can I accomplish this. Which function should I use or I need a VBA. Please advise.

    Thanks

    EW

If the subform is in Continuous view, use textbox in subform footer section: =Sum(IIf([Type]="visa",1,0))
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
