Exclamation To maintain a database of employee’s production

    Dear Expert,

Please help me with this. Can this be done using MS ACCESS? If yes, please guide me. I am just a beginner to ACCESS.

Aim: To maintain a database of employee’s production on each activities date wise, and to retrieve the employees cumulative up to date report.

Description: There is a department with 30 employees. On daily basis, their details on name, id, output, idle time, overtime and productivity are input in a table. The aim is to display the cumulative report of a particular employee’s production by date wise in separate columns. Finally, display it in a bar graph. The purpose is to find the performance of each employee and his progress.

    Thank you in advance.

    Yes, it can be done.

You need to learn relational database principles, Access functionality, programming concepts, macro and/or VBA language. Suggest you get a basic tutorial book and start.

Identify your data entities and relationships. Set up tables appropriately.

When you encounter specific issue in development efforts, post question.
