Query design

I am drawing a blank as to how to gather the info I need in a query. I have a table that contains the specifics to events that we have througout the year. The event date is the primary key.

I have another table that is a list of names of people we invite to our events. I need to have an invitation list for each event date with a yes/no box to indicate if they are invited or not.

This is probably so easy and i am so embarassed to even ask but I am drawing a blank how to pull the two together. Any help appreciated. Thank you.
