    Reports

I'm completely new in the IT field and new to Microsoft Access. This project was thrown my way. I have an accounting database to track payables, receivables, financials, and deliquencies/collections. Is there a way to generate a report for any of the items in the previous sentence that haven't been completed to keep track of workload. Any help would be appreciated.

Sure, but nobody will be able to give a specific method without knowing your structure. In general, you can use a parameter query or wherecondition to exclude those that are completed, based on whatever methodology you use to signify that.

Thanks for responding pbaldy are we allowed to upload files. Do you have to reach a post count cause I tried to upload a file but it wouldn't go through. Maybe you could take a look at it. The database was put together by a co-worker who is no longer around and this project was thrown my way so i'm basically forced to learn access on the fly. Thanks!

That's the front end, so I can't see the structure of the tables in the back end.

You can use the Linked Table Manager to find it. According to this file, the back end is:

    M:\Database\Accounting Forms\Main\Accounting_be.accdb

If that's real data, you may want to delete the attachment. What signifies completed in those tables? If for instance in the payables table it was the "Checks Mailed" field, you could have a criteria in a query of

    Is Null

on that field, which would return all the records where that field was Null.
