    Combo Box Feedback

    Hi,

I have an unbound Combo Box control on my Form. Now when the user enters a value in it, how can I tell whether they have entered a new value (ie, just typed something into the blank control) or whether they have chosen an entry from the drop-down list?

    Prof.

Set the "Limit to list" property to TRUE.
Then, if you want to add the typed in entry, add code for the "Not in List" event to add the new entry.

Or you could add code to check if the typed in entry is in the row source.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've been otherwise engaged, but back to this project now. Anyway, thank you ssanfu for your help, this suggestion worked well for me, and has solved my problem.
