Hi All
I have been researching the forums and have found my problem, but am struggling to find a solution.
I am using Access 2010 to build what I believe is a pretty basic database. I have 5 tables that I want to populate with a form using tab controls. The relationship that I am trying to build between the five tables is causing a bad query, because of the relationships, I think. This causes my form to disappear in form view.
My main table contains my "basic" information. The primary key field in this table is an ID number. I want the number input into the form for this field to populate an ID field in the remaining four tables. For these four tables I have separate tabs on my form.
To create the relationships I dragged the primary key from the basic table to the ID field for each of the other tables. I have checked the referential integrity and cascading options. This is where I think my solution will be. Can I have a one-to-many relationship from the basic table to all the others?
Thanks for any help!
