Export Specification for Pipe Delimiter. VBA output is CSV.

    Hello,

I have been having difficulty saving an export specification for use in VBA. I right click on the table I want to export and then run through the export steps for creating a pipe delimited file. There are two places where the routine accepts the pipe char and also under advanced, I save the specification with a name. I can get the export to save in the format I need. I am confused with the export routine because I can save the export specification under advanced, and at the end for scheduling. I am using the name I save at the end after the file is exported.

When I run the vba code, the file exports, but is CSV. I cannot seem to get the specification to save for use in VBA. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Jerold

I think I figured it out. My spec was not in quotations marks.
